2016 Guest Speakers and Instructors

WMCKA is pleased to announce Michael Gray as our featured Guest Speaker/Instructor for 2016!

As many of you already know, Michael is the owner of Uncommon Adventures based out of the Sleeping Bear Dunes area. His business specializes in kayaking trips and instruction throughout the Great Lakes, Alaska, and internationally to Roatan, Greenland and Iceland. His backcountry cooking skills are as polished as his kayaking and instruction skills, and he has consistently filled Symposium classes for backcountry cooking as well as SUP classes. He'll have his cookbook Hey, I'd Eat this at Home on hand to sample. Michael's skills come primarily from a 34 year history of destination paddling and guiding groups vs the classroom paddling setting. Michael is an ACA Level 3 Coastal Kayak Instructor Trainer, an L-4 Instructor, L-2 SUP instructor and L-2 Canoe Instructor.
